Dean Jobin-Bevans

Dean Jobin-Bevans received his musical education at the University of Toronto, and at McGill University where he obtained a master's degree in choral conducting and is currently finishing his doctoral program in choral conducting with Dr. Julian Wachner. Mr. Jobin-Bevans has sung with the Opera in Concert chorus in Toronto, under the direction of Dr. Robert Cooper, C.M., and the Ensemble vocal de l'Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Charles Dutoit, Artistic Director. As a conductor, Mr. Jobin-Bevans directed the Ensemble vocal Musica Viva from 1995 to 1998, and was Interim Director of Music at The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul in 2002.

Until August 2005, Mr. Jobin-Bevans was the Director of the McGill Conservatory of Music, and has recently moved to Thunder Bay where he is teaching in the Music Department at Lakehead University.
