Government assistance, in the form of direct funding grants and special project monies, accounts for approximately 30% of the TBSO annual revenue. We are pleased to acknowledge this continuing commitment from all three levels of government.

We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts which last year invested $26.8 million in music throughout Canada.

For forty years, the Ontario Arts Council has been sustaining artists and performing arts organizations across the province. The TBSO thanks the OAC for its continued investment in Ontario culture.

The TBSO is grateful for the continuing support it receives from local government. Municipal funding is received through the Cultural Funding Program of the City of Thunder Bay.
